Flossie Marie Burden, 82, of Elm Hall, died Tuesday, December 16, 1997 at her home. She was the daughter of Roland and Innie Mae(Wilson) Dukes.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18th at 11 a.m. from Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Riverdale with Rev. Steve Shook of the Alma Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Sumner Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Flossie resided most of her life in Gratiot County. She lived in the Oakley and Flint area for 22 years and moved back to Elm Hall in 1971.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Joyce Hyde of Riverdale, Barbara Bouldin of Alma, and Emma(Neal) Hamilton of Elwell; a son, Emery(Evelyn) Waldron of Middleton; 21 grandchildren; and 1 great- great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Burden; daughter, Freda Lowery; son-in-law, Ken Hyde; 8 brothers and sisters and 5 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
