David Barden, 86, Rt. 2, Merrill, Pine River, died early this morning, at Holy Cross Hospital.
Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park.
Mr. Barden was born July 27, 1892 in the town of Pine River, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Barden. He was married in Michigan to Hulda Vonderhei who died in 1966. Mr. Barden was a farmer and later a guide for Red Crown Recreation of Standard Oil. He serviced with the 20th Engineers in France in WWI.
Survivors include a sistr, Mrs. Nell Bernier, Merrill, Rt. 2.

Services will be held Thursday at 9:30a.m. in Wistein's Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Merrill. The Rev. James Dabruzzi will officiate and burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
