Lloyd Charles Drentlaw, age 93 of Richland Center, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Pine Valley Healthcare. Lloyd was born in Northfield, MN to Charles and Minnie(Zimmerman) Drentlaw. On September 29, 1940 he married the former Helen Ewbank and she preceded him in death on September 16, 1990. Lloyd and Helen moved to Richland Center in May of 1956 and in July of the same year opened the Dairy Queen Restaurant in Richland Center. Together they were longtime active members of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters: Gloria (Mark) Bassett of Richland Center. Karen Drentlaw of Black Earth. Linda (Dan) Watson of Stoddard. Four Grandchildren: Ashley & Stephanie Ferguson. Samantha & David Watson.

He was preceded in death by two children, Sharlene & Dennis in infancy.

Committal services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Richland Center Cemetery. Rev. Diane Clark will officiate. The Pratt Funeral Service of Richland Center is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences may be made at prattfuneralservice.com.
