Dorothy Irene Beaumont Stewart passed away October 2, 2007 in Austin. She was born April 9, 1929 in Beaver, Utah to Clark and Nola Irene Shipp Beaumont. She married Kenneth Ernest Stewart March 29, 1947 in Pioche, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. They enjoyed their 60th wedding anniversary this year and celebrated with many close friends and family.

Irene loved fishing and camping with her husband. She really loved her family and friends; family reunions were very special to her. She loved her dogs and cats, feeding her hummingbirds and wild birds. She never turned away a stray cat. She was involved in bowling leagues and an avid golfer on leagues for many years. She was always feeding the sick and the poor, she donated to charities, gathered and fixed up things for those in need at Christmastime. She loved putting together special care packages for her grandchildren and friends for Christmas. If you asked her for anything, she'd give you the shirt off her back and then some.

She is survived by husband, Kenneth; children: Calvin (Marlene) Stewart, Central Valley; Veronda (Robert) Nichols, Spanish Fork; Kelly Stewart, Richfield; Stacey (Steve) Marshall, Richfield; Jody (Angela) Stewart, Ogden; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Rehnae (Owen) Bagley, Manti; Richard (Roxie) Beaumont, LaVerkin; Corwyn Beaumont, Las Vegas, Nevada. Sister-in-law, Sherry Beaumont, LaVerkin.

She was preceded in death by parents; son, David Lynn Stewart; sister, Joeleen Myers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2007 in the Monroe 4th LDS Ward (49 East 200 North). Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery.
