Died at his home in Eureka Monday, November 6th, Mr. Samuel Cope.
Mr. Cope was born in Wyandotte county, Ohio, near Marcales. October 1, 1850.
In 1868 the family moved to Greenwood county locating near Fall River.
On November 4th, 1878, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary E. Riggles, who with seven children survives him.
Mr. Cope was an old resident of Eureka and for the past several years has been employed by the Houston Lumber Company.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H.O. Judd and interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.
