Helen C. (Greenburg) Wigal, 85, of Parkersburg died Oct. 12, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in New England, W.Va., on Feb. 7, 1921, a daughter of the late George and Mary Satow Greenburg. Helen was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church, where she had been a very active member for many years, and had worked for Broidas Department Store for many years.

She is survived by her children, Roger (Janet) Wigal of Parkersburg, Judy (Bob) Moore of Parkersburg and Gary (Ann) Wigal of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren, Christy Hayhurst, Chris Wigal, Angela Helmick, Robert Helmick, James Wigal, Dr. Timothy Wigal, Paige Windland and Dustin Wigal; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Catherine Mays of Washington, W.Va.; and one brother, Charles "Hank" Greenburg of Mineral Wells.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey M. Wigal; one brother, Harry Greenburg; and three sisters, Madeline King, Aileen Whitlatch and Margaret Bloomer.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Don Yeager officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
