KINGWOOD - Virginia Lee (Ginny) Marshall Bassham, 79, passed away October 25, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Billy Joe Bassham, and her older sister, Betty Marshall. She is survived by her sweet and wonderful, loving friend, Edward C. Knight; sons, Joe Carl Bassham and wife, Fredia of Baytown, TX, and Mark Steven Bassham and wife, Sandy of Willis, TX; grandsons, Mark Shane Bassham, Landon Heath Bassham, and Blake Jordan Bassham, and sweet granddaughter to be, Haley Roger; granddaughters by adoption, Tabatha Hunt and her family, Michelle Thomas; precious great-granddaughter, Heather Jo Thomas; sisters, Margaret Chamberlain of Bakersfield, CA, Carolyn Brown of Oklahoma City, Patty Jean Harshaw of La Habra, CA; wonderful sister-in-law, Sue Bassham Paul of Sulphur Springs, and a host of wonderful nieces and nephews including her #1 angels, Fredia Bassham and Sharon Rainwater; lots of wonderful Christian friends, bridge players and bowlers, volunteers from the N.E. Hospital, and loving Kingwood Church of Christ family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Rosewood Funeral Home, Porter, Texas. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Porter.
