ANTHONY, Karen Lynn, 34, of Ashland, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center, in Mechanicsville, Hanover, Virginia, after a brief illness.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 12 years, Travis; son, Travis L. Jr; her mother, Shirley Beasley and husband, Dwayne; her father, Michael Flippen and his wife, Marti; a sister, Michelle Flammia and her husband, Paul; a stepsister, Kristin Beasley; mother and father-in-law, Christine and James Anthony, Sr.; brother-in-law, James Anthony, Jr. and his wife, Tracy; and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home's Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, on Wednesday, October 24, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., and funeral services will be held in the chapel the following day, Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Humane Society, 12190 Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va.
