McLoud resident Georgia L. (Barlow) Clagg died Monday, Oct. 15, in Shawnee at the age of 79.
Georgia was born May 3, 1928, in Rudy, Ark., to James M. and Elsie (Amyx) Barlow.
Born in Rudy, Ark., she was reared in Seminole and she was a graduate of Seminole High School.
On June 15, 1951, she married Harold Clagg in Little, Okla. Following her marriage, she lived in McLoud for over 30 years.
Georgia was a homemaker. Her family was the focal point in her life. She also loved flower and vegetable gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Lee Clagg; and one grandchild, Abby Clem.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Clagg of the home; one son, James H. Clagg of McLoud; one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie S. and Hershel R. Molen of Blanchard; one sister, Mary Sue Lofton of Seminole; one brother, James H. Barlow of Midwest City; thee granddaughters, Drewanna O'Neill of Anderson, Ind., Rebecca Shorter of San Diego, Calif., and Carrie Daniel of Oelwein, Iowa; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
