Dies at Home of Daughter
at Tulsa.
Tulsa, Okla., Aug. 1.—(AP)—Florence Jane Anderson, 82 years old, died here today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. B. W. Grant.
Mrs. Anderson had been in ill health since she suffered a broken hip five years ago.
Mrs. Anderson was a teacher for seventeen years in Galena, Kan., schools. She moved to Tulsa ten years ago.
Funeral services will be held here tomorrow morning and burial will be in Galena in the afternoon.

Galena, Kan., Aug. 1.—Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Anderson of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Galena, who died today at her home in Tulsa, will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Galena cemetery.

Galena, Kan., June 26.—Information has been received here of the death of Mrs. Gertrude Anderson Grant, 61 years old, June 19 [1941] at her home in Tulsa. Death resulted from a heart ailment and followed a three years' illiess [illness]. Mrs. Grant formerly taught school in Galena.
Mrs. Grant had resided in Tulsa since she and her husband, Benson W. Grant, oil field equipment dealer, moved there in 1907 from Galena.
She graduated from the teachers college at Emporia, Kan. She was teaching school in Galena when she was married in 1904. Her mother also taught school here.
Funeral services and burial, were held in Tulsa Monday.
