She was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Peoria, Ill., to Linn and Delores Hall Arbogast. She married Maurice A. Adami on July 6, 1947, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1999.
Surviving are her two sons, Stephen (Betty) Adami of Dunlap and Timothy Adami of Georgia; two daughters, Carol (David) Sharp of Mapleton and Nancy (Clay) Wagnaar of Manito; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis (Roy) Baer of Alta, Irene (Fred) Grunert of Princeville, Alice Streitmatter of Rome and Diane Arbogast of Elmwood; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Arbogast of Dunlap.
Jean was a pharmacy technician for Walgreen's for 25 years.
She was a member of the Dunlap American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for 27 years, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary and held numerous other offices within the legion.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday at Prospect Cemetery in Dunlap. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Anderson Chapel in Chillicothe.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
A luncheon will be provided by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion in Dunlap following the graveside services.
