Marianna - EVELYN ANDERSON, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in Memphis, Tennessee.Evelyn wasborn in Oxford, Arkansas on October 21, 1925 to Thomas McKinley and Nannie Bell Smith. She worked as a machinist for General Electric. Since she never married, she had no children of her own, but dearly loved her nieces and nephews, and they loved her in return. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, LowellAnderson; and one nephew, Billy Wilkes. She is survived by her younger sister, Doris Wilkes of Marianna, Arkansas and her children, Rickey and Judy Wilkes of Marianna; Donna Gardner of Wynne, AR; Sandra Childers of Carrollton, MS; Betty Wilkes of Memphis, TN;Waid "Buddy" Wilkes of Olive Branch, MS; Donnie Wilkes of Nashville, TN; and Aletta Poffenbarger of Fort Deposit, MD. She is also survived by one older sister, Ada Huddleston of Malvern, Arkansas and her children, John, also of Malvern; and JuliaofArkadelphia, AR; one brother, George Anderson ofDenver, Colorado and his children, Wendy Garcia, Tommy Anderson, Marsha Stanley, Billy Anderson and Della Martinez, all of Denver, Colorado; and the children of her brother Lowell, who preceded her in death, Johnny, David and Jim Anderson, also of Denver. Services will be at2 p.m. on Friday at Marianna Church of Christ, burial following in Marianna Memorial Park.
