Mildred was the daughter of Alfred and Lula Turner Luce. Her parents are also buried in Garden of Memories. She first married Lester Bernard Cheatham. She shares a stone with her second husband, Hunter Lee Sheridan.

Mildred Sheridan
Services for Mildred Sheridan, 82, of Elkhart, will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Barney Walker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mrs. Sheridan died Friday at a Houston hospital.
She was born Oct. 16, 1915, in Houston County.
Mrs. Sheridan was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Bernard Cheatham; second husband, Hunter Lee Sheridan; and a sister, Ardell Head.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice Berry of Stafford; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
Condolence calls will be received from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
