Services were held Thur. Feb. 6, 1986, at 10:30 am. from Oliver Chapel for retired Screw Conveyor Corporation employee, Roy J. Rhine, 71, of Winona.
Rhine died Tues., Feb. 4, in Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston after a lengthy illness. He was a member of First Bapt. Church in Winona.
He is survived by his wife Juanita Collins Rhine, daughters, Reba Carwile of Winona & Mrs. Martha Holly of Charleston; 2 sons, Dewey L. Rhine of Vancouver, Wash. & Frank L. Rhine of Winona; one stepson, Ronnie L. Collins of Jackson, MS, a sister, Mrs. Ruby Jordan of Jackson; 12 grandchildren & 9 gr.grand-children.
The Rev. Dr. Jerry Mixon, assisted by the Rev. John A. Wade, preached the service & burial was in Oakwood Cem.
Pallbearers were Billy Box, Billy Costilow, Victor Ferguson, George Jones, Larry Randle, & Joe Hobson.
