Services for Mrs. Annie Poindexter Pettigrew, age 89, who died Monday morning in a local Rest Home, were held a 2 o'clock Wednesday from Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Ward and Joseph A. Moore officiating. Burial was in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Jones County but had lived most all of her life in the Salem community. She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George Bloodworth of Milledgeville; one grandchild, Mrs. James Hopson of University City, Mo.; and four great-grandchildren.
