I believe this is George W. Brown 64th Regt. 4th Pa. Cavalry Company B Bugler, not 149th volunteers. I have found no George Brown on the rosters for the 149th Infantry. I believe my great great grandfather, whose death date and location matches, and who was a cavalryman as indicated by the crossed swords on the headstone, is buried there. He enlisted in 1861, served in many engagements large and small. Until he was captured in Oct. 1863 then sent to Libby and then Andersonville Prisons. Freed by Sherman's March he was eventually mustered out at the end of the war.
