Mrs. Mary Forbus Dies at Capitan
News of the death of a former Hobbsan, Mrs. Mary E. Forbus of Capitan, was announced here today. She is the mother of Mrs. Leon Hoyl, 1008 East Clinton, with whom she made her home for about five years before moving to Capitan six months ago.
Other survivors include two sons, William Forbus of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Dyer Forbus of Capitan; and four daughters, Mrs. A. C. Wilson of Pawnee, Okla., Mrs. Lee Black of Jennings, Okla., Mrs. Ella Parsons of Albuquerque, and Mrs. Jessie Platt of Amarillo, Tex.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church of Capitan. Burial will be in a Capitan cemetery.
