PLEASE NOTE: His name is shown on the tombstone as "J.R. Bias" but his full name is John Alogan Bias, Jr. Son of John Alogan Bias, Sr and Amie Malinda Friend. Husband of Thelma Lorene Hampton. Father of 3 girls. This is my father. The "Alogan" came from the man who created Memorial Day, John A. Logan. He and Dad's great grandfather were in the Civil War together and he wanted to name his son after Mr. Logan so he named him John ALogan Bias.
