Besides being a fiery(but clean) competitor, you were a real student of the game. Many consider the '27 Yankees the greatest team of all time. But you were the heart and soul of this team. You knew when to make moves ..and when not to. You knew how keep control of this diversified team and get them to perform as a team! I consider you one of the top five managers of all time.

years) met

only once.But
my grandfather
got his autograph.
Funny thing now
is that autograph
is with another
family member and
it should have
went to me.But
Miller was a fine
man.
