Murphie Lee Ashcraft, 96, of Warren, died Saturday at Wagnon Place Nursing Home at Warren.
She was born Oct. 14, 1907, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Barber Ashcraft and Cora Sturgis Ashcraft.
She was a retired nurse at the Bradley County Medical Center and a member of the Central Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Barney Fay Ashcraft and Havis Rush Ashcraft.
Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. today at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Rye.
