Robert was born in Elm Mott, Texas, to the late Louis Henry and Anna Mary Snider Kreder. He graduated from Connally High School in 1956 and worked at Mosley Machine Co. after graduating. He married Rose Rejcek on Oct. 10, 1959, in West. Robert enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, four wheeling and checking cows, fishing, deer hunting, traveling and spending time with his two Boston terriers, Miss Molly and Dolly. He also enjoyed spending time with his coffee drinking buddies at Dee's Donuts in Elm Mott and listening to Polka Music.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead where he served as an usher, a member of Knights of Columbus Council #2305 in West, American Legion Post #478 and a life-long member of SPJST Lodge #66 in Elm Mott. He was a member of the National Guard for nine years and employed at General Tire and Rubber Co. for 22 years and also was self-employed in the construction material business for 45 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rose, of Elm Mott; daughters, Lori Nors and husband, Bernie, of West and Kelly Ryan and husband, Patrick, of Lewisville; grandchildren, Matthew, Whitney and Natalie Nors, of West and Jacob and Chad Ryan, of Lewisville; brother-in-law, Eugene Rejcek and special friend, Mary Niles, of West; and nephew, Shawn Rejcek, of Corsicana.
