CRUMPACKER---Mrs. Mary Agnes Crumpacker was born in Alleghany county, Pa., Nov. 7, 1835, and departed this life June 19, 1918, aged 82 years, 7 months and 12 days. Grandma Crumpacker was a pioneer of Michigan, coming here 30 years ago and settling in Tobacco township, living there until her death. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons and one daughter, Frank at home, Elmer of Sanford and Mrs. Emma Bird, of Pine Stump; also several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters. Heart trouble and sorrow from the loss of her son Zelora in March hastened her death. She was the mother of seven children, four of whom preceded her with her husband to the great beyond. Grandma will be greatly missed in the home and in the community where she lived. The body was laid to rest June 23 in the family lot, Dale cemetery by the side of her husband and son. Pallbearers Rev. Arnold, Wm. Bergman, Mr. Shaffer, Mr. Fairchild, Mr. Spencer and Mr. Quellet. Gladwin County Record dated 06-27/1918 Column - 5 Page - 5
