SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Mavis Sledge Holt, 96, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel with Bro. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, La. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holt was born in Ringgold, La and passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007 in Shreveport, La. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Holt; infant daughter, Jo Beth Holt; parents, Ernest L. and Myrtle Thornton Sledge; sister, Nelwyn Sledge Conly; brothers, Orville Sledge and W.C. Sledge.
She is survived by her brother, Marlin Sledge & wife, Sunshine of Shreveport, La; sister-in-law, Mary Todd Sledge; numerous nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ray Sledge, Phillip Sledge, Bill Sledge, Patrick Sledge, Butch Conly & Chuck Conly.
Honorary pallbearers will be Al Harper and O.L. Harper.
