A Methodist minister, Thomas B. White was the son of Benjamin Rogers White and Eliza Mothershed Kinny. He married Victoria E. Scales on Dec. 22, 1855. Children were born of this union--Minnie White who married Benjamin Lee Arnold, Ernest White, Lelia White who married Carvill Hynson Carson, and Stuart L. White.
