| OBITDelhi, La., Nov. 4 --- Allen Jones, 78, a resident of Delhi for the past 15 years, died at his residence early Tuesday morning.Mr. Jones is survived by two half-brothers, John and Phil Sykes, Crystal Springs, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Nannie McManus, Crystal Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Lenie Lewis, Crystal Springs, Mrs. Sally Smith, Baskin, La., Mrs. Joe McManus, Terry, Miss., and Mrs. Vergie Shoemaker, Plain Dealing, La., and three sons, David and Leon Jones, Crystal Springs, and Joel Jones, with the United States Marine Corps.---Richland Beacon-News, Nov. 8, 1941. - Brandon Added: Nov. 25, 2008 |
