Services for Katharine Broaddus, 92, of Hill-n-Dale Drive will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Emery Emmert and Gary Story. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. She died Thursday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. Born May 17, 1909, in Jessamine County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Grace Davis Dean. She was a homemaker, a member of Bryantsville and Buena Vista homemakers clubs, a member and former treasurer of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and a member of Christian Women's Fellowship. She was the widow of William T. "Bill" Broaddus. Survivors include a son, Charles Broaddus of Garrard County; two sisters, Blanch Bibb of Lexington and Elizabeth Lee of Frankfort; and a grandson. Pallbearers will be Randy Broaddus, Paul Ruble, and David, Gayle, Donnie and Ronnie Bibb. Honorary pallbearers are Carliss Conley, Ad Pence, Mike Morgan, Buddy Hulett, Horace Sharp and Paul Drew.
