Patricia L. Swineford, 69, 803 S. Main Ave., died Monday, May 22, 2006, at 1:40 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 8, 1936, in Celina to Ralph and Mary Rupert McElroy.

She was married June 16, 1962, to Gerald Swineford, who preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1995.

She is survived by three children, Brian and wife Deborah Swineford, Patti and husband Jim Sloan, and Jerry Swineford, all of Sidney; four grandchildren; and siblings, Walter McElroy of Coldwater, Edgar McElroy of Indiana, Bobby Bowersock of St. Marys, Mary Lou Schumann of Botkins and Jeriland Temple of Celina.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and she was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Dayton VA National Cemetery in Dayton. There will be no calling hours. The Rev. William J. Clinton will officiate the service.

Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Patricia's memory.

All arrangements were entrusted to the staff of Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road.
