MICHAEL HIGI JR., 24, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, at his home. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, he preferred and maintained the self-employed lifestyle. He lived life to the fullest with family, friends, and Apollo right by his side. Survivors include parents, Michael and Kathy (Axt) Higi of Fort Wayne; sister, Michelle Higi of Fort Wayne; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Anna Axt, Jackie and Kenny Truman; and uncles, Rick and Randy Axt. Service is 2 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
