Olive Louise "Sister" McWilliams Snell, 85, of Avonmore, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in Beverly Healthcare, Murrysville. She was born Jan. 3, 1919, in Salina, the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret J. Colledge McWilliams. Before her retirement, she was employed by General Electric and Raytheone Corp., both in Somerville, Mass. Mrs. Snell was an excellent seamstress and had a great passion for crossword puzzles. She is survived by a son, Richard W. Snell and his wife, Diane, of Cortland Manor, N.Y.; a brother, Richard McWilliams and his wife, Iva "Larue," of Moon Township; a sister-in-law, Dorothy McWilliams, of Murrysville; and several nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Orville McWilliams. Family will receive friends Monday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 6:30 p.m. in the KELLY L. CORRIDONI FUNERAL HOME LTD., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore. The Rev. Rodney Murray, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Avonmore, will officiate. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
