Jackie Bray, son of William and Flora Bray; grandson of Tom and Lula (Barber) Bray, & Milliard and Nannette (Neely) Hyden.

This was an uncle who died months before I was born. There would have only been five years differance in our ages. I am sure we would have had lots of good times.

I remember the family talking about him. He must have been wise beyond his years...a few days before he left, he had been ill with "kidney poison", his mother had him sitting on the cabinet while she was preparing a meal and he told her "he had to go home" of course she told him he was already home, he said no, I mean to live with Jesus.

When he passed it all came back to her what he had said, and she told the story over and over with a heavy heart.
In those years there were a lot of children lost because of not having the medical knowledge we now have, he was just one of them.

He is loved even tho some of us never knew him.

THANK YOU SHARON FOR POSTING THE PICTURE.
