LAST RITES FOR MRS. WALTER ROBERTS
Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Roberts were held at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon, Rev. S. E. Dorsett officiated, assisted by Rev. Hardesty and Rev. Keimig. Music was furnished by Howard Hoffman, Jimmy Swart, Lee Cannon and Charles Denison with Mrs. Hoffman at the piano.
Interment was in the Rose Hill cemetery. Pall bearers were Ted Ricke, Ben Williams, Dean Betty, Archie Ray, George Martin, Paul Pfaff, Wayne DeMint, George Spicer, Hugh Hunter and Jimmy Spicer. Marion Ballard assisted Mr. Ikerd who had charge of the funeral.

ANNABEL ROBERTS.
Annabel Carmack was born at Winigan, Missouri, September 28, 1899, and died at her home in Hazelton on February 20, 1950, at the age of 50 years, 4 months and 22 days.
She was reared by her grandparents at North Salem, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Walter Roberts, August 2, 1920. Four sons and three daughters were born to this union. One infant daughter, Gaynell, prededed her in death; also her parents and grandparents and a son by a former marriage.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of the First Baptist church at Hazelton. She had been in poor health for some time but became critically ill only a few days before her death.
Her primary interest in life was her home and children. It was her desire and prayer that they all live good christian lives and continue to help one another.
She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, Lois Maxine Reed of Maxwell, California; Delores Aldine of the home; and four sons, William Ray, Benjamin Thomas, Allen Lee, and Lonnie Dale, all of the home; one grandson, Leslie Everett Reed of California; also by three brothers, Reuben Carmack of Winegan, Missouri, Ernest Carmack of Brookfield, Missouri, and Sherban Carmack of Colorado.
