She had taught at schools in Dubuque & Sioux City, Ia.(1899 at St. Joseph's School) & Boulder, Colorado after joining the Sisters of Charity, BVM, at Dubuque IA on 08SEP1890.

At time of Roger HEFFERNEN's death she resided in Chicago Illinois She died at the Mt. Carmel Motherhouse in DubuqueIA and is probably buried there.
