Ruby Elizabeth McKenna, 87, died February 4, 2007, at her home in Poncha Springs, Colorado.

Miss McKenna was born November 7, 1919, in Leadville to Hugh James and Ellen (Roberts) McKenna.

She was a school teacher in Salida for more than 45 years. She was an active member of United Methodist Church in Salida for 55 years.

Miss McKenna was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, a past member of the American Association of Retired Persons and was a very active woman.

Survivors are a niece, nephew, cousin, many friends in Chaffee County and Lake County.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday February 10, 2007, at United Methodist Church in Salida. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
