Jimmie Nix, 91, a resident of Ingleside, Texas since 1935, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2006. She was born December 24, 1915 in Winters, Texas to Rufus & Mamie Sanders.

She retired from National Linen Service in Corpus Christi as an Administrative Assistant in 1975. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ingleside.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Nix in 1995, her sister, Ala Blackmon and two brothers, Robert and T.C. Sanders.

She is survived by her son James Keith (Jerry Lou) Nix of Ingleside; her daughters, Sandra (Bill) Shake of Ingleside and Linda (Johnny) Leyendecker of San Antonio; her brother, Charles (Evelyn) Sanders of Spring Dale, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services were held Jan. 2 and Jan. 3 at Charlie Marshal Funeral Home. Interment followed at Prairie View Cemetery.
