Funeral services and burial were held in Salt Lake City, Utah, for Eugene D. M. Todd, 59, of Salt Lake City, a former Salem resident who died Jan. 24.
Surviving are his widow, Phyllis Jean; a son, daughter, and grandchildren; four children by a previous marriage; three sisters, Thelma Todd of Salem, Donna Conley of Florida and Gladys Zeiler of Salt Lake City.
A brother, Randall, preceded him in death.

He was the brother of Mrs. Gladys Zeller, Orem.
He was born Sept. 11, 1913 in Salem, Ohio, a son of Marshall and Ruth Ritchey Todd. He married Phyllis Jean Patterson on Jan. 17, 1947 in Akron, Ohio.
Mr. Todd was a retired salesman. He was a veteran of World War II and active in the American Legion Post 71. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his widow, one son and one daughter, Eugene E. Todd and Charmaine Todd, both of Salt Lake City; one grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Zeller, Orem; Mrs. Thelma Todd and Mrs. Helen McClure, both of Salem, Ohio, and Mrs. Donna Breitenstein, Lakeland, Fla.
Friends may call at 260 E. South Temple Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
