Sylva - Ralph Allison, 92, of Sylva, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2007. The funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Olivet Methodist Church. Visitation 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Moody Funeral Home and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph Allison, 92, of Sylva, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at Skyland Care Center. Services were scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Olivet Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with the Rev. Steve Philippi officiating. Burial was to be in Sherrill Cemetery. He was a son of the late John David Allison and Mary Howell Allison. He was preceded in death by one son, Lewis Allison; one granddaughter; and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his wife, Emma Raby Allison; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
