Funeral for Miss Lola Lipscomb was held in the First Methodist Church.
Burial was in the Albany Cemetery.

Miss Lipscomb, who was 82, died Friday at Dogged Nursing Home in Dublin. Shee fell six weeks before her death, breaking her hip. She was treated at a Fort Worth hospital before being returned to Dublin.

Miss Lipscomb was born November 12, 1882, in Cameron. She came to Albany with her parents the late Wyatt an Mildred Lipscomb , and was reared here and attended the Albany Schools. The Lipscomb home was just north of Albany, on land now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Francis Taylor.

She left Albany about 1905, and was a deputy district clerk at Breckenridge. and later was deputy clerk at Muleshoe. In recent years she made her home in Amarillo, and also spent much time in Cublin. She had been very active until her accident.

Miss Lipscomb was a member of the Methodist Church since childhood.
