Viola Siebels was born on May 25, 1912, at Ireton, Iowa, to John and Anna (Renken) Siebels. She completed her sophomore year of high school at Ireton and moved to Wentworth in 1931. She married George Abraham on Dec. 31, 1931, at Wentworth. They farmed near Wentworth for many years and she worked for Wenk's Produce in Madison until 1974. Her husband died in 1975 and she moved into Wentworth in 1995.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, and was a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Quilting Guild and was a 4-H leader and Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include two sons, Milton (Ardice) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Lynn of Plainview, Neb.; four daughters, Marlene Rausch of Cudahy, Wis., Lenice Jensen and Lois (Myrl) Unzelman, both of Sioux Falls, and Carol Dirks of Pipestone, Minn.; an adopted son, Gene (Bonnie) Limmer of Sioux Falls; 25 grandchildren; 42-great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother; two sisters; and a grandson.
