Frances "Panchita" Aragon, age 76, of Clovis, NM, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis. She was born June 28, 1930 to Ignacio and Lucilla Baca Dominguez in Ribera, NM. She married Miguel Aragon February 1, 1964 in Farwell, Texas. She was a waitress at Foxy's, Golden Grill, and Snazzy Pig; and a member of Our Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis. Her hobbies were bingo, sewing, cooking, and she enjoyed her grandchildren, and her green thumb - growing plants.
She is survived by six daughters, Dolores Aragon and her companion, Vincent Ulibarri of Clovis; Rose (Cayetano) Aguilar of Aztec, NM; Mary (Paul) Prucey of Pearland, TX; Lucille Chavez of Plainview, TX; Margaret Ortiz of Clovis; Josie Ortiz of Plainview, TX; two sons, Alex Ortiz of Santa Fe, NM; and Eddie Ortiz, Jr. of Topeka, KS; one brother, Jerry Dominguez of Spearman, TX; one sister, Marie (Lala) Baca of Las Vegas, NM; and 26 grandchildren, several great & great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Faviola Dominguez; a brother, Robert Guerremo Dominguez; one grandson, James Ortiz; an infant son and daughter; and one step-son, Joe Aragon.

A rosary will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2006 with Deacon Daniel Chavez officiating. Mass has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at El Calvario Cemetery in Puerto de Luna, NM. Pallbearers will be Moses Bibbs, Amanda Bibbs, Richard Prucey, Alex Ortiz, Antonio Vigil, and Johnny Vigil.
