In the bio below, Joan as having a husband, Mr. Curtis. I believe this is an error. According to Mayflower Increasings, in a listing for John Tilley, it names Joan Hurst as first marriage to Thomas Rogers in 18 Jun 1593; he d. btwn 1594-1595. They did have a child, Joan. Contributor 48210374.

It was not until a descendant of one of the children left in England applied for membership in Society of Mayflower Descendants based on his ancestor, John Tilley, that the information that Elizabeth was not an only child was known on this side of the Atlantic.
