Miss Effie Pollock, 82, of Oxford, Rt. 6, died Thursday at Anniston Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr. Charles Martin officiating. Burial will be in Chosea Springs Cemetery. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. J. R. Busby and Mrs. Jeff Ward, both of Oxford, and Mrs. Henry Morgan of Anniston and two brothers, Sam Pollock and J. J. Pollock, both of Anniston. Miss Pollock was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County, and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.
