There is no picture of Queen Beatrice of Sweden (1344-1359), nor any current one of her defunct grave site now somewhere under the bustling city center of Stockholm. This is the coat of arms of the mighty Wittelsbach Dynasty of Germany to which she belonged, as did subsequent rulers of Sweden in 1440-48 and 1654-1741. Beatrice was the first Wittelsbach on the throne of Sweden (known to modern history), as Queen Consort to King Eric (XII).
