Miss Mary Stoffregen, 86, 508 Adams St., died Tuesday at 6 a.m. at Allen Convalescent Home of a heart ailment and complications from a stroke suffered six years ago.
She was born Nov. 16, 1870, in Illinois, daughter of Charles and Louise Rosenov Stoffregen. She resided in Florida many years before coming to Waterloo 15 years ago. She was a member of Trinity American Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Martin Beener, 508 Adams St., and Mrs Bertha Heitman, 1022 Kingley Ave., and a brother, Louis Stoffregen, of near LaPortr City. She was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and parents.
Funeral services are pending at the O'Kefe & Towne funeral home.
