Age 78, of Lockport, passed away Monday, September 11th, 2006 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.
Jeanne is survived by her loving family, her husband, Robert E. Baxter, Sr; three children, Barbara (David) Moulthrop, Robert E. Gina Baxter, Jr., Scott (Natalie) Baxter; twin brother, John (Florence) Billings; one sister, Rita (Jim) Wright; ten grandchildren, Jill, Rebecca, David, Elizabeth, Kellie, Kristopher, Adam, Rye, Lexi and Seth.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Seeley & Josephine Billings (nee Flynn).
Jeane was born December 7th, 1927 in Maquoketa, Iowa. She was a member of the First Congregation United Church of Christ in Lockport. Jeanne was a founding member of the Lockport Woman's Club and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at Goodale memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St, Lockport, on Monday, September 18th, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated.
