Assistant Manager at Crawford & Company's KY branch, he was honored to be selected for an "Emerging Leaders" training course in Atlanta. Co-captain and football MVP at Noblesville H.S. IN. Member of Theta Chi Fraternity and graduate of Morehead State. Order of Kentucky Colonels. Former employee of Arnold S. Levine in Cincinnati, prior to moving to Lexington with wife Anita (Scales) Threet. Served as scout leader, local Cub Scout Pack 363. Survived by his wife Anita Scales Threet. Also survived by children; Collin, Brenna and Sheridan. Parents; Collins and Sherry Threet, Monticello, KY. Brother, Douglas Threet (Michelle Luschek). Wife's parents; Bob and Chris Scales of Cincinnati, OH. Brother in law, Charlie (Teri) Scales and Sister in law Mary (Tony) Yorio. Nieces and nephews, A. J., Anna, Julia, Kyle, Carley, Jarred, Kayla and Melinda. Many special friends and colleagues. Warmly remembered for his big smile and willingness to help others.

GREGORY ALAN THREET was born October 10, 1970 and departed this life August 27, 2006 reaching the age of 35 years. He was the son of Collins Threet and Sherry Gehring Threet.
He was united in marriage to Anita Scales and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Threet; three children, Collin, Brenna, and Sheridan Threet; his parents, Collins and Sherry Threet; and his brother, Douglas Threet (Michelle Luschek). He is also survived by his wife's parents, Bob and Chris Scales; brother-in-law, Charlie (Teri) Scales; sister-in-law, Mary (Tony) Yorio. Nieces, and nephews, A. J., Anna, Julia, Kyle, Carley, Jarred, Kayla, and Melinda; along with a host of friends and colleagues who mourn his passing.
He was co-captain and football MVP at Noblesville High School; a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and graduate of Morehead State; Order of Kentucky Colonels; and scout leader for local Cub Scout Pack 363. He was a former employee of Arnold S. Levine in Cincinnati, prior to moving to Lexington where he was Assistant Manager at Crawford & Company's KY branch.
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
