MAXWELL BELLOWS
Maxwell (Max) Bellows, 72, of Canton, PA, passed away at the Troy Community Hospital on Friday, November 4, 1994 following an extended illness. Max was born January 18, 1922, son of the late Seymour and Lillie Watts Bellows, East Canton. His employment included Swayze Folding Box Co., Jones and Brague Mining Co. and Rockwell's Feed Mill. He retired in 1987. Mr. Bellows served four years with the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Canton Moose Lodge No. 429. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Madeline (Pat) A. of Canton; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Janet VanNoy of Mansfield; daughters, Patricia Gilly of Stroudsburg, a daughter and son-in-law, Cleone and Bob Schweikart of Williamsport; and daughter-in-law, Debra Bellows of Prattsburg, NY. There are seven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Jerry Max Bellows, of Prattsburg, in 1983. Funeral services were held at the Morse and Kleese Funeral Home in Canton on November 6 with the Rev. David B. Morris officiating and interment in the Windfall Cemetery, Granville Township. A service was conducted by the Canton Moose Lodge No. 429.
