DORIS V. TROUTMAN Born March 17, 1916 in Mitchell County, Kansas; passed away August 28, 2006 in Northridge, California, at the age of 90.

Doris was raised in Kansas, and became a school teac her in a one-room schoolhouse in the early 1930's. Today, that same schoolhouse sits on the grounds of Knott's Berry Farm.

Eventually, she moved with her husband and children to Texas, then to California; she resided in Los Angeles County for 50 years. Doris went on to enjoy careers as a beautician and a laboratory technician. Her hobby was painting, and her family and friends have enjoyed the results of her work. Doris and her husband, Harold, were both charter members of the Canoga Park Moose Lodge, where she held many offices, including Senior Regent.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Troutman; and one son, Stephen.

She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Troutman; and sons, Michael, Jeffrey (Susan), Roger (Jeanette), and Mark (Jinny). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Doris was active in life until her passing, and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
