By 1939, Bill and Edna had moved to Angola, Labette County, Kansas, where he was foreman of the Jensen Ranch, retiring from this job in 1955. After his retirement, they moved to Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas.
Funeral services were held in the Ford Funeral Service Edgewood Chapel, Coffeyville, Kansas, with burial in Coffeyville at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
