Ernest M. Yerbey, whose hometown is in Cherokee, Alabama was discharged from the Army recently at the Ft. McPerson personnel separation center. In service for 32 months he was overseas 27 months with the 533rd anti-aircraft and aircraft warning battalion. He wears the "Good Conduct Medal" the "European Theatre ribbon" and 5 battle stars.
