LAKELAND -- Mrs. Gracie Lue Modest of Lakeland died of heart failure July 24, 2006 at Tandem at Lake Paker. She was 87. She was born in Lakeland. She was a housekeeper.
Mrs. Modest is survived by her daughters, Gloria Lowe, Terry Strong, Sandra Kay Mitchell, all of Lakeland; sister, Constance Winton, Monroe, Ga.; three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday at Coney Funeral Parlor. Services will be at 11 am Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
